INTERMEDIATE AUTISM PRACTICUM

The intermediate practicum is the 2nd part in a 3 part series of practicum offered at WMU through the Behavior Analysis Training System.  In the IP students will refine their Discrete Trail Training skills along with gaining other skills including Functional Analysis, dealing and treating problem behaviors, skill acquisition, and will be given an introduction to other forms of treatment offered for children diagnosed with autism.  The practicum requires 10 hours of in booth discrete trail training as well as a 1.5 hour seminar on Wednesday nights.

Course Description PSY 3570: Intermediate Autism Practicum  

The IP System provides undergraduates with the training and materials needed for the skill development required for acceptance in the Advanced Practicum, and providing opportunities and experiences for learning about autism.
